Sara received a 101 Outdoor Arts Research and Development Commission to offer a training course to explore approaches to writing for Outdoor and Site Specific settings.
With 15 artists from different backgrounds and regions, the course was a resounding success. Feedback included :
- I really enjoyed being led by such a brilliant and experienced teacher/writer! The course was structured really well – clearly a lot of thought has gone into each task and how we would progress with our work. It felt like we were always being nudged forwards with what we were creating, and yet I didn’t feel pressure or worries about my writing being judged. This allowed me to write more freely, allowing ideas to surface, whilst also feeling challenged to develop my work.
